The HoLa Festival is a day-long celebration of diversity and a cultural salute to our East Tennessee community. The festival is part of the local celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. It is an invitation to the general public to learn and enjoy the best of our music, food, arts, crafts and so much more! Hispanic Heritage Month has been celebrated since 1968 in the United States. This year marks the 11th edition of the HoLa Festival.
The HoLa Festival is brought to you by HoLa Hora Latina.
El Festival de Hola es parte de las celebraciones en Knoxville del Mes de la Herencia Hispana. Muestra la diversidad y semejanzas de nuestras culturas. Es una invitación al público en general a aprender y disfrutar lo mejor de nuestra música, comida, arte y cultura. En Estados Unidos, el Mes de la Herencia Hispana se ha celebrado desde 1968. Este año se marca la undécima edición del Festival de Hola!

Directions to Market Square Garage:
Traveling east on I-40:
- Exit 388 (Downtown Exit)
- The exit splits in two--take the right exit to 62 W to Western Ave and Summit Hill
- Take a left at the traffic light onto Western
- Go through traffic light
- (FYI: At this intersection, you will see the L&N station on your right. You are going straight through the intersection.)
- Take the second right onto Walnut.
- You will see a Market Square Garage entrance on the left

Where can I park? ¿Dónde me puedo estacionar?
There are many parking places under the Viaduct on Jackson. There are large free parking lots in Magnolia and the Old City. Parking is free at the cityowned Market Square Garage, Locust Street Garage and State Street Garage.
Los estacionamientos grandes más cercanos están en Magnolia y en Old City. El estacionamiento bajo el puente en Jackson tambien tendrá bastante espacio. Los garajes de estacionamiento de la ciudad son gratis en los fines de semana. Los garajes propiedad de la ciudad más cercanos son los de Market Square, Locust Street y State Street.

The Passport activity, Heritage Tables and Children’s Section will be closing at 6:00 p.m. From 6:00 to 8:00 we will be gathering around the main stage at the Viaduct to dance to fun, live music! Come to either learn or show off your salsa moves! A fun way for the whole family to celebrate!

La actividad del Pasaporte, las Mesas de los Países y la Sección de Niños cerrarán a las 6:00 p.m. ¡De 6:00 a 8:00 nos reuniremos alrededor de la tarima principal a bailar con música en vivo! ¡Traigan a toda la familia a bailar salsa, cumbia, merengue y mucho más!
There is no admission fee. However, we request that you bring a can of beans or a bag of rice per person to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank. There will be marked bins near the HoLa Information tent, where you can deposit your donation. Food and drinks will be for sale. There is a fee for some of the children’s activities ($5 wristband), train ride ($2) and the passport/traveling guide ($1).
La entrada al Festival de Hola es gratis. Sin embargo, le pedimos que por favor traiga una lata de frijoles o una bolsa de arroz por persona.
